Janelle Mead Interiors provides full-service interior design for premium residential new builds and full scale renovations.

Every project is led personally by Janelle, and typically includes space planning, joinery and kitchen and bathroom design, finishes and fixtures selection, coordination with your builder, and oversight through to final handover.

Because every development and every home differs in scale and complexity, no two projects are scoped the same way. Following an initial consultation, Janelle prepares a proposal tailored specifically to your project.

What’s Included

Every project is tailored to suit your individual needs, however a typical design package may include:

Initial Design Consultation

A comprehensive half-day consultation where we take the time to understand your project, lifestyle, vision, and overall design goals. We’ll review floor plans, discuss functionality, identify opportunities within the space, and establish the creative direction for your home.

Concept Development

Using the information gathered during the initial consultation, we begin the concept development phase.

This is where the vision starts to take shape through curated ideas, flatlays, and moodboards that capture the overall look and feel of the space. We also begin creating 3D models to help clearly visualise and present the design concept.

Concept Presentation + Finishes Selection Meeting

An intensive 1-day session where we guide you through the entire interior selections process.

Together, we’ll curate a cohesive palette and select all key finishes and fixtures for your project, including:

  • Tiles and flooring

  • Paint colours

  • Cabinetry finishes

  • Benchtops and splashbacks

  • Tapware and plumbing fixtures

  • Hardware and fittings

  • Lighting selections

  • Interior materials and textures

Our goal is to ensure every selection works harmoniously together while balancing aesthetics, practicality, durability, and budget.

Detailed Selections Documentation

We provide professionally organised documentation outlining all approved selections for your builder, cabinetmaker, and trades. This creates clarity throughout the construction process and helps minimise confusion, delays, and costly errors on site.

Cabinetry Design Concepts and Documentation

Custom cabinetry concepts and documentation tailored specifically to your space and lifestyle requirements, including:

  • 2D elevations and layouts

  • 3D visual renders

  • Tile location documents

  • Kitchen, bathroom, laundry, and custom joinery concepts

We focus on creating cabinetry that is not only visually beautiful, but highly functional and thoughtfully designed for everyday living.

Additional Services

Depending on your project requirements, your package can also include:

  • Site visits during construction

  • Plumbing, electrical, and tile rough-in guidance

  • Electrical and decorative lighting selections

Investment

Projects begin at $2 million in build budget. Given the scale of work at this level, pricing is proposed individually for each project rather than offered as a fixed package; ensuring the scope reflects exactly what your build requires, nothing more and nothing less.
