Janelle Mead Interiors works on projects with a build budget of $2 million and above, with a strong focus on property developments, alongside a limited number of private residential clients who bring a similarly significant investment and a high degree of trust in their designer.

A select number of projects are taken on each year, each one led personally by Janelle from first concept through to completion.

Seven years designing luxury homes and developments across South East Queensland.

Currently taking on a limited number of new projects for 2026 / 2027

Janelle Mead is a fully qualified, Brisbane-based interior designer with seven years of experience creating bespoke interiors for new builds and renovations.

Her path into design grew from a lifelong passion for property and colour theory, a fascination with how a space is shaped from the ground up, and how the right palette can completely change the way a home feels to live in.

Her approach is considered rather than trend-led, built around a strong sense of colour and how it works with light, materiality, and the bones of a space. The goal on every project is a home that still feels right well beyond its first year.

nice words

“I was able to trust the whole process knowing my vision and interiors were being expertly attended to. This whole experience has been an absolute pleasure, and with a fabulous interior designer by my side I have gotten the house of my dreams.

You are a true professional in your field.”

“From the outset we knew we were in good hands. She took the time to liaise directly with our builder when things were too complicated for us. Janelle was confident in her design advice and so knowledgable when it came to products and materials.

She has saved us time, money and energy and we couldn’t be happier.”
